Dan Crotty joined the Providence Group in 2024. Dan grew up in Charlotte, NC but moved to New York City to attend college at Stevens Institute of Technology. While at Stevens, Dan achieved a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Quantitative Finance, and a M.S. in Information Systems. Following college, he pursued a career as a college lacrosse coach where he coached at the division 1 and 3 level before getting into commercial real estate.
Dan likes to spend his free time growing the lacrosse community in Charlotte, seeing live music, and staying active.

Alex Miller joined The Providence Group in Raleigh in 2024, shortly after earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management from Clemson University with a Minor in Accounting. During the summer of 2023, he interned with Matthews Real Estate Investment Services in Atlanta, where he focused on market research to generate client leads. This experience provided him with valuable insights into commercial real estate investment sales, leasing, and capital markets. Additionally, Alex was a collegiate member of the Wall Street South Investment Club, where he managed an online portfolio of stocks and ETFs, further deepening his knowledge of stock market trading.
Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Alex relocated to the Raleigh area in July 2024, where he obtained his North Carolina Real Estate License.

Reagan Crabtree became a partner at The Providence Group in 2023 and now heads the Raleigh office, bringing with him over 18 years of expertise in retail commercial real estate, specializing in both Landlord and Tenant representation.
In the realm of Landlord Representation, Reagan boasts extensive experience leasing grocery anchored developments, single and multi-tenant strips, mixed-use projects, and power centers. Reagan’s leasing proficiency spans big box disposition, redevelopment consulting, new construction, and outparcel development. Throughout his career, he has forged robust relationships with national REITs, local ownership groups, and developers across the Carolinas.
Additionally, Reagan possesses a robust background in Tenant Representation, offering site selection services for local, regional, and national retailers, restaurants, and developers. Armed with a deep understanding of markets, various trade areas, and analytical data tailored to each client, Reagan has effectively guided numerous key tenants through multi-market expansion.
Before joining The Providence Group, Reagan spent 13 years as a Senior Vice President on the retail team at CBRE|Raleigh, significantly contributing to the team and portfolio’s growth. His journey in retail commercial real estate began in 2006 at The Shopping Center Group, and he is a proud graduate of The University of South Carolina.
Ivan Karaivanov joined the brokerage team at The Providence Group in 2022 after working as an intern in 2021. Ivan grew up in Charlotte, NC and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Matt started working in commercial brokerage in 2014 moving over from finance at Bank of America. He joined the brokerage team at The Providence Group in 2021. He exclusively focuses on Landlord Representation and works with both national and local landlords across North Carolina and South Carolina. His knowledge local knowledge, creativity, and persistence helps his clients achieve and surpass their goals.
Matt has worked with portfolios of numerous national landlords, REITs, and developers. Current and past clients include: KIMCO, Slate Asset Management, RREEF, Echo Realty, Morgan Companies, Barclay Group, Columbia Development, RealtyLink, Hammerford, Thompson Thrift, Vanguard, Shottenstein, Seritage, Red Development Partners, Westwood, and Provest.
He is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and is a graduate of John Carroll University where he received a B.S. degree in Finance. Matt lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Lauren and three children. On weekends you will find him chasing his kids around the ball fields.
As a dedicated leasing and development advisor, Darrell is responsible for marketing efforts on a diverse retail portfolio of anchored shopping centers, mixed-use, street level retail, and single and multi-tenant strip centers. Additionally, he assists owners and developers in identifying new opportunities, value-add projects, and acquisitions. He has extensive experience in new construction, redevelopment, urban infill, out-parcel development and tenant disposition.
Darrell takes a methodical approach to each project by creating a custom leasing plan which he executes through his knowledge of the trade area, tenant relationships and leadership in industry organizations.
Darrell has worked with many of the largest institutional owners and REITs as well some of the most active developers in the region. Darrell has also led portfolio disposition for national retail and restaurant brands.
With 20 years in retail development and leasing, Darrell has transacted with many of the most popular local, regional and national brands. His relationships with tenants and their brokers have been forged over a prolific career focused specifically on retail in the Carolinas.
Born in New Jersey, Darrell has spent his entire adult life in the Carolinas. He received a finance degree from UNC Charlotte and serves on the alumni board for the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate.
Darrell has held several leadership positions with ICSC and most recently served as the State Chair for North and South Carolina. He has chaired the ICSC@Carolinas Conference and has served numerous years on the ICSC@Southeast Conference Committee.
He lives in Charlotte with his wife, a third-grade teacher, and four school-aged children.
Lauren Faulkenberry joined The Providence Group’s brokerage team in 2020, where she specializes in retail agency leasing and tenant representation. Her expertise lies in the specialty and lifestyle brands and working with innovative retail concepts. Known for her keen eye in merchandising her properties and has demonstrated success in developing comprehensive leasing and marketing strategies that enhance property value.
After graduation, she launched her commercial real estate career in Tampa as a leasing agent with Colonial Properties Trust, managing over 1,000,000 square feet of third-party and joint-venture properties across Florida. She later returned to her hometown of Charlotte to lead leasing efforts for Metropolitan at Midtown, a high-profile development by Colonial Properties Trust, Pappas Properties, and Collet & Associates.
Lauren’s career also includes ownership and operation of two Pure Barre studios in Greenville, SC, where she also served as a Master Trainer for Pure Barre Corporate.
In 2018, Lauren moved back to Charlotte, NC where she resides with her husband and two children.
